Ryka loves books and can’t seem to get enough of them. On being asked to choose ten favourites, she didn’t understand the logic behind just ten! Honestly, it is a stupid rule and a lot of bookworms broke it. Ryka, like a true bookworm, loves all her books. She grudgingly agreed to point out the more special ones from her shelf.
The Big Book of Barney Stories (Puffin Books): I love it because Barney has big feet!
Rosie’s Babies (by Marin Waddell): Rosie’s babies live in a nest. That’s so cute.
Noah’s Ark (by Lucy Cousins): Noah saves the animals! That’s why!
Madeline (by Ludwig Bemelmans): Madeline is brave and is not afraid of mice .
The Day the Crayons Quit (by Oliver Jeffers): Red crayon has written to me that I use red a lot and he is tired!
Owen (by Kevin Henkes): This is the story of MY blanket and me.
Let’s Get a Pup (by Bob Graham): The story is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l. I like the pup.
Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs (by Ian Whybrow): I like dinosaurs!
Elmer and Rose (by David Mc Kee): I have never seen a pink elephant and Rose is funny.
Alfie’s Shop (by Shirley Hughes): Alfie has a little shop in his garden just like the one I want to have!
Ryka, we apologise for making you choose, and are thankful for the lovely list! Keep reading and come back with more next year!

Good choices!!
